Physician Shortage Puts Pressure on U.S. Healthcare System

A waiting room at a doctor’s office is full of patients. The Nurse Practitioner on vacation this week, the office manager squeezes in several unscheduled patients before Noon followed by a lunch meeting with the malpractice insurance broker.
